CMS Specialist
We are seeking an entry to mid-level CMS specialist with hands-on experience in content management systems (CMS0, including WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal. The role focuses on building, managing, and maintaining websites using CMS platforms, with a strong emphasis on plugin management, page builders, and front-end customization.
This role is ideal for a specialist who is practical, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering production-ready websites without requiring full-stack development expertise.
Job Responsibilities:
CMS Development & Management:
a. Develop and maintain websites using WordPress, Joomla & Drupal.
b. Install, configure, and manage themes and plugins/modules.
c. Perform CMS updates, backups, and security maintenance.
d. Troubleshoot CMS-related issues and bugs.
Page Builder & UI Implementation:
a. Build responsive pages using native WordPress editor and builders such as Elementor & Beaver.
b. Customize layouts using drag and drop builders and theme settings.
c. Translate UI/UX designs into functional web pages.
Plugin & Feature Integration:
a. Evaluate, install, and configure plugins for SEO, performance, forms, and security.
b. Ensure compatibility between themes, plugins, and CMS versions.
c. Optimize plugin usage to avoid performance bottlenecks.
Basic Front-End Development:
a. Apply HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for customization.
b. Modify templates and styles to meet design requirements.
c. Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
Performance & Optimization:
a. Optimize website speed and performance.
b. Implement caching, image optimization, and best practices.
c. Support SEO implementation (on-page basics, metadata, structure).
Collaboration:
a. Reports to Head of Production, work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams.
b. Support deployment, testing, and QA processes.
c. Assist in website updates and content publishing.

Skills and Requirements:
- 1-4 Years of experience in CMS-based web development.
- Strong experience with WordPress (mandatory).
- Working Knowledge of Joomla and/or Drupal.
- Hands-on experience with Elementor, Beaver Builder, Native WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg).
- Basic proficiency in HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript (basic level).
- Experience managing plugins, themes, and CMS updates.
- Understanding of website hosting, domains, and deployment.
Preferred:
- WooCommerce or CMS-based e-commerce.
- Strong experience with WordPress (mandatory).
- Website performance tools (GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights).
- Basic Knowledge of PHP (for minor tweaks).
- Familiarity with version control (Git).
- Experience working with an agency and multi-brand environment.
